Padel Spot
Run fair padel tournaments from one app on iOS and Android.
Role: Solo designer and developer
- JavaScript
- Vite
- Capacitor
- RevenueCat
- StoreKit
- Play Billing

Overview
I designed, built, and launched Padel Spot to make organizing padel tournaments easier. From one web codebase, the app runs on iOS and Android, sets up Americana and Mexicano formats for 4–16 players, and generates balanced fixtures. Players can score matches as they happen, follow the leaderboard, and look back at tournament and lifetime stats.
What I built
- Built the offline-first app in JavaScript and Vite, with localStorage persistence and Capacitor builds for iOS and Android.
- Implemented Americana round-robin and Mexicano qualification and championship rounds, with fixture generation designed to balance pairings.
- Added live scoring, round progression, scramble and restart, leaderboards, tournament history, and lifetime player statistics.
- Managed signing, provisioning, store submissions, and releases in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
- Integrated RevenueCat for the one-time premium unlock and purchase restoration across Apple and Google billing.
Fixtures for real formats
Organizers can set up Americana or Mexicano tournaments for 4–16 players, with balanced pairings generated automatically.
Scores and standings
Live scoring moves rounds forward and updates a leaderboard with points, wins, draws, losses, and point differential.
One product, two stores
A single offline-first codebase ships to iOS and Android, with a shared purchase flow for the premium unlock.

Outcome
I shipped Padel Spot to both app stores and added a freemium purchase flow: two free tournaments followed by a one-time unlock, with purchase restoration for returning players. Updates after launch added leaderboard sorting and more detailed match and player statistics.
